Six Word Saturday

Farewell my carefree days of summer.

I have to go back to school in 6 days, the young un in 16. Bleck! I still have a million things to do before getting my mind back in teacher mode...

Hey, Julie -

I feel your pain. I went back Monday. On the bright side, I don't get students until September, so I have plenty of time to gear up for teacher mode.

Don't forget to replenish your chocolate stash

Enjoy your last weekend of the summer! These things pass far too quickly, don't they?!

OMG me too. I haven't done a damn thing this summer and now I'm like freaking out because there's so much I want to do around the house. Nothing like waiting till the last minute!

How to you spell the sound of a lazy mom sobbing?
We'll have to get up early.
They'll want clean clothes for sure.
And breakfast.
And hair takes precedence over bed-making if time is tight.
Wah-hah-hah.

I don't know if it's a good thing or not, but I'm a year-round educator. I've not had the "back-to-school blues", but I've never experienced the joys of the "lazy days of summer", either :-)

I think teachers have way more prep than students! :)

ten days of meetings is No Fun. Good luck....I'm going back voluntarily on Monday, but haven't gotten the word on when we have to be back officially. There are only 2 days of official prep for us.

Over from SITS to say Have a Nice Day.
