My mind is on Spring Break.
This was easily the longest week ever, despite all baseball practices being canceled due to rain. The lost hour (thank you Ben Franklin!) made the drive to school that much more daunting. I felt like I needed to send the young un out with a flashlight for his one block walk to school! Which meant my classroom stayed dark & gloomy for at least the first two classes. Never underestimate the power of a little natural light on the tweens. But the monotony of dark and rainy mornings was worth it, because when that bell sounded at 3:30, I had 15 minutes to freedom---Spring Break has finally arrived!

It can't come too soon, is all I have to say! Hey, please drop by my Silly Sunday Sweepstakes tomorrow...you'll be glad you did!
The darkness depresses me. And night blindness means I can't drive anywhere after work all winter. It does make suffering through darker (earlier) mornings worth it at the end of the day. Enjoy break and thanks for participating!
I like your six words! My mind is too. But our Spring Break is not for another month! And winter keeps dragging on and on and on...
I hope you have a super weekend!

Yes, please! I'm taking a mini-break to Chicago this weekend, and I can. not. wait.
Enjoy your spring break!
Holy cow! You got the button! :)
I love Spring Break! No waking up early in the morning and just doing whatever!
Happy SWS!
